I don't have a dad! Screw Fathers Day!
To all of my friends out there that did not have the opportunity to know their fathers, I've learned some things throughout my lifetime...... I can't even begin to put myself in your shoes, but I will tell you that I've had several men that I consider to be "father" figures in my life. God is our Father! Period, point blank. If I've ever needed "fatherly" advice I drop to my knees and pray.... My first 3 years in the Army I spent 73 days total in the United States. This is when I learned that mentors, leaders, and men that I respect were extensions of my own father. Look to the men that have been there for you and recognize that. :-) >>>> single mothers, you're doing a great job out there!! Please do me a favor and get a positive male figure in your child's life.
Very Respectfully,
George Ohan
